PROJECTS

Dufatanye Organization realizes its mission of combating HIV/AIDs, malnutrition, and poverty by focusing on vulnerable populations in areas with high malnutrition and extreme poverty through a variety of integrated projects; adopting best agricultural practices in implementation and quality control.

We oversee a multitude of services and initiatives to empower communities and promote household development. Program beneficiaries are the biggest testament to Dufatanye Organization’s impact. The initiatives have succeeded in creating sustainable livelihoods for individuals and communities. We run the following projects:

Children's Projects

We engage the children in a variety of fun and interactive activities such as:

  • Bible study/Moral Education

  • Music Dance and Drama

  • Agriculture

  • Arts and Crafts

  • Youth Empowering Youth

  • English lessons (spelling bee, story telling)

  • STEM Classes

Village of Hope

In this project, Dufatanye Organization carries out different activities like:

Sustainable Agriculture:

  • Kitchen Garden construction

  • Distribution of banana suckers and fruit trees

  • Distribution of laying hens and animals

  • Food banks

  • One Chicken Per Child

Clean Water Project:

  • Construction of safe and clean water sources – boreholes

  • Distribution of water filters

Better Life Projects

Better life starts with access to basics needs like:

  • Construction of houses for the homeless  - 10 houses constructed so far. (at least 2 houses per year) – cost of 4,000 USD per house.

  • Health education –Sanitary health (focus on women and girls)

  • Medical treatment
